Combining her school classes with those in music academy, Natasha Rudina (NATALI) used to write poems, sing songs, perform them at school music shows and parties. She used to be a frequent participant of local competitions among amateur talent groups, thus earning a great reputation and winning public recognition. In 1991 Natali records her first songs in a Dzerzhinsk studio, while in 1992 she releases an audio recording of her very first album Star Shower. Almost all the songs of the album were cover versions of CC Catch’s hits. The album enjoyed a certain deal of success and it brought about a strong wish to carry on. For Natali this album was a sort of starting point on her way to public recognition.
The band became popular not only in its hometown of Dzerzhinsk, but all over Russia. Thanks to her insistence Natali keeps on getting ahead; by now her records have numbered eleven albums with most of the songs written by Natali herself. There are videos for a dozen of her songs. Many of her songs gained universal recognition and became truly popular hits. But one can never forget one’s first steps, and the singer thinks of her very first album (with CC Catch’s songs, popular at that time) with nostalgia. This album ranks its honored position in Natali’s creative work.
